My Reflection of trying Voki as an educational tool:
The first impression after I tried out Voki was that it could be an amazing tool for listening/speaking tasks. I believe that listening and speaking cannot go apart from each other when it comes to language learning. One big merit of Voki is that its tone and manner is very appropriate for language learners. Meaning that when native teachers speaks English, it may be too fast, could have accents, or too small to hear; however, Voki speaks very clearly, gently, with appropriate speed in which it is very comfortable to listen. Another advantage of Voki is that it has diverse language selections, and multiple types of English as well (UK, Australia, USA...etc). The broad selection enables to create variety of teaching materials. I would definitely be willing to use it in the future!
